After the 14th Ammendment to the US Constitution, everyone has rights - except the Native Americans. Cavalry Army General Boyd applies that by breaking past treaties with the Apaches, and suppressing them in the territory under his command. A young Apache - named Cuchillo/Knife, after the massacre of his tribe - is taught that he is the gods' send to protect his people. Brought up to be a great warrior, he will attempt to reason with Boyd, and then fight an uneven battle against the Blue Demons.

The Wound and the Knife (Notes for a Film About García Wehbi) / 2019

"The wound and the knife" is several things, or at least three: a documentary, a fiction and an essay. A documentary about the creative process of the last 5 years of the artist Emilio García Wehbi, a series of fictional scenes that dialogue with his work and a kind of essay on the body. In this sense, the staging is situated in the fragment, not only in the fragments of Wehbi's works, but also in the fragments of the bodies that make up those works. Thus, a little adrift and with a puzzle structure, in "The wound and the knife" I manifest a constant will to jump into the void, in this way the film denies itself as a closed work, but rather, what what it tries to be is a draft, the single notes that survived my own process.

Cuchillo, messicano piè veloce e filibustiere, è inseguito da sbirri e fidanzata furiosa. Resta coinvolto nella rivoluzione e dovrà correre ancora per evitare gli sgherri del dittatore Porfirio Díaz. È forse il miglior film, sicuramente il più divertente, interpretato da T. Milian, bravo e simpatico prima del coinvolgimento nella serie di Monnezza: un western avventuroso e spettacolare non privo di un certo impegno e di riferimenti politici che furono colti dai contestatori sessantottini.
