A major advertising festival is held each year to determine the best television commercial in the world. A rookie ad man at a big advertising company named Otan is selected as a judge on the festival jury. Meanwhile, a coworker also named Ota (although the Japanese characters are slightly different) poses as his wife so that he can attend an open party which is held nightly. Knowing that he’ll get fired if his company doesn’t win the Grand Prix, he’s forced to resort to a variety of desperate tactics.

Dietro all'infondata accusa c'è un complotto, che vede coinvolto anche Rico, un vecchio nemico di Dredd che gli somiglia moltissimo...

America del futuro, la metropoli Mega City è invasa dal caos e dalla criminalità. Le forze dell’ordine, i Giudici, possiedono 3 poteri: arrestare, giudicare e giustiziare. Dredd è il giudice più duro e spietato ed è chiamato a risolvere l’ultimo dei tanti problemi che flagella la città: una droga pericolosa che fa vivere la realtà ad una frazione della sua velocità normale, la “Slo-Mo”. Durante l’addestramento del giudice Anderson i due vengono a conoscenza di un delitto in un quartiere dove i colleghi non osano minimamente entrare, una cittadella costruita su 200 piani d’altezza sotto il controllo della signora della droga Ma-Ma e del suo spietato clan. Mentre il numero dei caduti aumenta Dredd e Anderson si trovano senza via d'uscita ed in lotta contro le probabilità di una loro sopravvivenza.

Hank Palmer è un affermato avvocato difensore di criminali. Quando torna nella piccola città d'origine per i funerali della madre, ad attenderlo trova il padre Joseph, stimato e onesto giudice, e i suoi due fratelli. Il rapporto con il padre è freddo e conflittuale, ma quando l'uomo viene accusato di omicidio, Hank decide di restare e aiutarlo difendendolo in tribunale. Il crimine di cui è accusato riguarda un omicida che lui stesso aveva condannato vent'anni prima. Il giudice non ricorda nulla e Hank è l'unico che crede nella sua innocenza.
