The Bonds of Freedom / 2022
Bonds of Freedom is an anthropological reflection on the various forms of the bonds of society. Through this lens, the film explores the milieu of mushers, dog sled riders. It follows one musher family, showing their daily routine of raising sled dogs and also the Czech Long Trail (Šediváčkův Long), a dog sled race that the family both participates in and helps to organize. The anthropological reflection is told through time-lapse montage and visual metaphors.

Fuggito dalla nave che doveva trasportarlo alle Falkland, l'agente si recherà dapprima a Cuba dove incontrerà l'affascinante statunitense Jinx, poi a Londra dove il misterioso miliardario Gustav Graves sembra tirare le fila del gioco. Di mezzo c'è un satellite capace di concentrare la luce solare, doppi e tripli giochi, un conflitto alle porte tra Corea del Nord e del Sud. Non è difficile immaginare chi l'avrà vinta.

Dopo questo prologo viene inviato a Bratislava per organizzare la defezione di Georgi Koskov, un generale del Kgb. Qui sventa un attentato organizzato da una graziosa violoncellista-spia. Si reca quindi in Afghanistan dove scopre che dietro a tutto si cela proprio Koskov. 007, dopo le gloriose stagioni Connery e Moore, si è riciclato nei panni di Timothy Dalton: ne risente la mitologia del personaggio, ma non la spettacolarità del suo cinema.
