Epica: We Will Take You With Us / 2004

Con un solo album alle spalle gli olandesi Epica sembrano essere sulla buona strada per diventare una delle più importanti classic-metal band con voce femminile. Questo DVD contiene la registrazione della loro partecipazione ad una conosciuta session che viene trasmessa dalla televisione olandese. In un set di riprese in studio viene eseguito per intero "The Phantom Agony", sfruttando l’apporto completo del coro che aveva inciso il disco e un sestetto d’archi a funzionare da supporto orchestrale. Due song vengono ‘girate’ in versione acustica ed eseguite insieme ad una bella cover di ‘Memory’ dal musical "Cats". Un punto da non trascurare è la bravura di Simone che riesce a trasmettere all’ interpretazione vocale un brivido di emozione, aiutata anche da due occhi azzurri da infarto e una grazia da angelo della porta accanto. Molto simpatici i vari making of contenuti negli extra, insieme a due video clip e ai servizi fotografici eseguite per l’occasione.
