A story of a sensible boy, raised by a lonely and hard working mother, somewhere in a far province, where life revolves around daily, inveterate habits. The boy gets lost on his way back home while his concerned mother takes up a desperate attempt of finding her little son. “Toto”, a kaleidoscope of events filled to the brim with suspense and awe, is a universal story about naiveté and irreversibly lost infant dreams. Oga Kazuo Exhibition: Ghibli No Eshokunin - The One Who Painted Totoro's Forest / 2007
From July 21 through September 10th, 2007, the Museum for Contemporary Art Tokyo held an exhibition honouring Kazuo Oga, the art director and background artist for many famed works from Japan's Studio Ghibli. Over 600 works from the artist were on display, and numerous fans flocked to the one-of-a-kind exhibition celebrating the lush, gorgeous background artwork typifying many a work from Hayao Miyazaki and other Ghibli filmmakers. International fans of Oga and Studio Ghibli have not been left out, however. A Ghibli Artisan - Kazuo Oga Exhibition - The One Who Drew Totoro's Forest allows fans the opportunity to attend the exhibition, as well as watch interviews and testimonials with Oga's contemporaries and collaborators, all subtitled in English.

Marco Antonio ama Cleopatra ma è perseguitato dalla moglie gelosa. Costei, trovato un poveretto del tutto simile al marito, lo invia alla corte della regina d'Egitto con lo scopo di porre fine alla relazione tra i due. Cleopatra, per le pene d'amore, vorrebbe uccidersi ma l'aspide velenoso, una volta morsa la regina, cade per terra avvelenato. Dal canto suo, il malcapitato sosia si mette in salvo. Tutta Cinecittà nel 1963 era impegnata per il kolossal Cleopatra, e fioccavano imitazioni e parodie. Non poteva mancare Totò, a suo agio anche in mezzo a scenografie e costumi riciclati, con le immancabili spalle Mario Castellani e Gianni Agus.
