Avrebbe, perché un paio di turbative ci sono: la morte della sua migliore amica e quella di Jack, figlio dei suoi vicini di casa. Ma la turbativa peggiore è davvero strana, e assolutamente inquietante. Nella vita della donna entra un taxista misterioso, che le consegna una pergamena consunta che contiene una tesi inverosimile e orrenda: suo figlio sarebbe la reincarnazione di Satana, che dopo l'iniziativa di Dio duemila anni prima, vorrebbe percorrere quella stessa via. Kristie, naturalmente sconvolta, sempre meno incredula, comincia a difendere se stessa e il figlio.
