Pascual Contursi (18-11-1888, Chivilcoy, Buenos Aires, Argentina)

Pascual Contursi was a well-known Argentine tango playwright, musician and lyricist. He was the author of several tango lyrics, among which "Mi noche triste" stands out, considered the first tango-song and performed by Carlos Gardel in 1917.
