VH1: Divas Las Vegas / 2002

This concert DVD captures the 2002 VH1 Divas Las Vegas performance at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas, NV. Hosted by Ellen DeGeneres, the celebrity lineup includes Cher, Celine Dion, Mary J. Blige, the Dixie Chicks, and Shakira. Special guest musicians such as Anastacia, Stevie Nicks, Cyndi Lauper, and Whitney Houston joined in for some of the performances. The show opened with a cover of AC/DC's &"You Shook Me All Night Long," and one memorable moment featured Cher in drag as Elvis Presley. This was the fifth VH1 Divas musical event held to benefit the VH1 Save the Music Foundation, which provides support for music education in public schools.

In 1999, VH1 brought together on one stage high-powered divas like Tina Turner, Cher, and Whitney Houston along with divas in training Leann Rimes, Brandy, and Faith Hill for an all-star concert. This DVD captures that show in a standard 1.33:1 transfer. English soundtracks are available in both Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS Surround Sound. In addition to the high-powered performances, the DVD includes profiles of the divas and sound bites from the divas.

VH1 Divas: An Honors Concert For The VH1 Save The Music Foundation aired live on September 17, 2009 at the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) Howard Gilman Opera House in Brooklyn, New York. Paula Abdul hosted and performed. This concert, which featured a new and younger crop of divas as headliners, has not been released on CD or DVD.

VH1 Divas Celebrates Soul / 2011

VH1 Divas Celebrates Soul was the third of three concerts in the series not aired live. It was taped on December 18, 2011 at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City,[10] and aired the next evening on VH1, paying tribute to the places that helped create or contributed to soul music: Chicago, Detroit, London, Philadelphia and Memphis.[11] Anita Baker, who was going to sing with Jill Scott, had to drop out moments before the concert after disagreements with producers,[12] allowing Marsha Ambrosius and Ledisi to step in and perform in their places during the Detroit medley.[13] Kelly Clarkson twisted her ankle on the way into the concert, though she still performed as planned.
