Kelly e Sophie sono due sportive che stanno scalando una montagna. Prima di affrontare una salita impegnativa che deve cominciare all'alba vanno a dormire presto. Kelly però è svegliata dalle grida di Sophie, che si era attardata a chiacchierare e fumare con quattro uomini che avevano conosciuto lungo il percorso. Fa appena in tempo a raggiungere la zona da cui provengono le urla, per vedere (e filmare) il corpo senza vita di Sophie ai piedi di un dirupo. A quel punto, disperata e terrorizzata, comincia a inerpicarsi sulla montagna come può, pur di scappare e salvarsi la vita.
