Koji, una volta ultimate le riparazioni di Mazinger Z, decide di raggiungere Akira sulla Gool. Il tentativo riesce, ma con l'esito che alla fine si ritrova in trappola di Ryo, che nel frattempo ha assunto l'aspetto e i poteri di Satana. Tutti i protagonisti riescono ad avere un incontro con il creatore di questo strano mondo: si tratta della testa di un ragazzino, che altri non è che l'autocaricatura di Go Nagai stesso. Durante questo incontro, a causa di un equivoco, Akira si arrabbia con Ryo che, nel difendersi, lo uccide. Koji accecato dall'ira scarica invano il Raggio Termico contro Satana, fino ad esaurire le energie. L'unico effetto ottenuto è quello di aver aperto uno squarcio nella Gool, dal quale Jinmen e Ashura precipitano. Essi giungono su un nuovo mondo fatto di desolazione, abitato da due bambini ed un essere gigantesco. Presto saranno raggiunti dagli altri....
