Jeanne and Paul, both in their seventies, lead peaceful yet gloomy lives as retirees in the south of France. On the day of a heatwave, the sudden appearance of a river will definitively turn their daily lives upside down.

Tempus Fugit is the story of a psychiatrist caring for an apparently schizophrenic patient. The patient claims to know the exact time of his own death, being in possession of an object, the "Deathcrawler", which can foretell when the user will die. Whether the object merely reads what is already there, or decides the outcome... we don't know.

Tempus Fugit explores the effects of being able to travel back and forth in time in boring and insignificant installments – half-day to 6-7 days, at a stretch. But the point is, much like Butterfly Effect (the film – the wikipedia definition!), small, utterly insignificant, initial variations can/ may lead to large changes in the long term. This fascinating theory is clubbed along with an average-nobody’s seemingly inconsequential every day act becoming significant enough to save the world – to an incredible effect.

The staging of the eternal fight between man and the time. Man desires immortality, but his earthly body is destined to die, so he watches unarmed, just as a spectator, to the flow of his life events while the time is running out. Finally he will understand that only through the memory and the sign he can cherish a desire for immortality. The Time will end for everybody, but only those who will be able to leave a sign, will live forever.
