Come il predecessore Cabin Fever, il film tratta ancora di esseri umani contagiati dal virus che provoca la fascite necrotizzante. Nel primo film, Paul, uno dei protagonisti infetti finiva in un lago infettandolo. Cabin Fever 2 si apre con Paul ormai consumato dal virus che emerge dalle acque del lago e corre a cercare aiuto. Muore però subito investito da uno scuolabus. Nel frattempo l'acqua del lago contagiata da Paul arriva fino ad uno stabilimento per l'imbottigliamento dell'acqua e finisce in un carico di bottiglie infette consegnate ad un college americano. Il virus viene così ingerito inconsapevolevolmente da molti studenti e dopo un periodo di incubazione, durante il ballo annuale inizia la tragedia tra vomito, bolle di sangue, e profonde lacerazioni...

A Paul Terry Terrytoon cartoon (production number 5109) in which Gandy Goose gets spring fever (the only mention of the word "spring" in this seven-minute cartoon) and runs away from home, and promptly runs into a fox, proprietor of a roadside diner, who wishes to offer goose-fricassee on his menu. Gandy's goose is about to be cooked, until he develops a sneezing-fit and sneezes his way back home. This cartoon has nothing do do with some MTK3 short with the same title.

Coily, the animated spring sprite, grants his wish, and Gilbert is bedeviled by once-familar appliances that no longer function. Apolo­gizing to Coily, Gilbert acknowledges the contribution of springs to daily life, especially in the Chevrolet.
