First broadcast by ABC on April 21, 1977, Sinatra And Friends opens with Where And When, which features Dean Martin, Natalie Cole, John Denver, Tony Bennett, Loretta Lynn, Leslie Uggams and Robert Merrill. Sinatra performs duets of standards in different styles such as folk and disco in addition to each singer performing solo. It is all music and no talking, exactly the way Sinatra wanted it. Frank Sinatra was enjoying a remarkably productive period of creativity in his mid-sixties. The Man And His Music, first broadcast on November 22, 1981, finds him in sparkling form with the accompaniment of the great Count Basie and his orchestra. I waited 20 years to record with this giant of a music man, Sinatra tells us. Amidst many great moments, there are particularly outstanding performances of two of his later career hits Something and Theme From New York, New York .

First broadcast by ABC on May 12, 1960, Welcome Home Elvis was Frank Sinatra s fourth and final Timex special. It marked Elvis Presley s first TV appearance after coming home from military service. Elvis performs Fame And Fortune and Stuck On You whilst Presley and Sinatra join forces on great renditions of Witchcraft and Love Me Tender. Joining in the fun is the one and only Sammy Davis Jr. who delivers songs from Porgy And Bess, celebrity impersonations and a dancing contest with Peter Lawford.

The concert was shortly after the release of his landmark 'Trilogy' album and showcases a number of songs from that album.

Frank Sinatra was at rock bottom as far as his career in Hollywood was concerned, but made his way back to the spotlight via Finspångs Folkets park in 1953 in front of 537 local fans. Hollywood no longer wanted to know about Frank Sinatra, he divorced his wife Nancy in 1951 to marry the actress Ava Gardner, "the most beautiful woman in the world" and he went to Las Vegas to get his career going again. But in 1952 he was fired from Columbia Pictures.. A year later he was in Sweden on tour and performed in Finspång. Only 537 turned up.The ticket was a whopping SEK 4 against the normal 1:50. The arrangement backfired.
