Room for One More / 1962

Room for One More is a short-lived American 1962 ABC/Warner Brothers situation comedy, principally starring Andrew Duggan and Peggy McCay as the heads of the Rose family. Its humor derives from their decision to augment their existing family with two adopted children.

Anna e Poppy Rose (Batsy Drake e Cary Grant) hanno tre figlioletti. Se Poppy si preoccupa per un bilancio familiare non certo faraonico, la generosissima Anna accetta di farsi carico anche di un'altra ragazzina e, più tardi, addirittura di un piccolo storpio. Ne nascono parecchie difficoltà, ma, col tempo, anche le gioie di una convivenza serena e felice. Più che la struttura della vicenda, abbastanza scontata nella sua marcia verso un esito di generale soddisfazione, vale la presenza di protagonisti di grosso mestiere che cavano il meglio da ogni situazione. Il film ha comunque dato origine, in Usa, a un fortunato "serial" televisivo.

He is the winner of the "Funniest Comic East of the Mississippi" contest, runner-up at Chicago's National Clean Comedy Challenge and is the founder of "Stand-Up For Adoption"; a comedy benefit series that raises money for families trying to adopt.
