L'alba del Rinascimento - Il Duomo di Firenze / 2010

La Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore è la principale chiesa di Firenze, Italia. E' stato uno dei più imponenti progetti del rinascimento. Il Duomo di Firenze, come è comunemente chiamato, è stato iniziato nel 1296 in uno stile gotico seguendo il progetto di Arnolfo di Cambio e completato strutturalmente nel 1436 con la copertura a cupola progettata da Filippo Brunelleschi. L'esterno della basilica presenta facciate di marmo a più colori con tonalità di verde e rosa con bordature bianche. La Basilica è una delle chiese più grandi d'Italia e, fino a quando non è iniziato l'uso di materiali più moderni, il Duomo era il più grosso del mondo. Rimane ancora oggi la più grossa struttura mai costruita al mondo con mattoni.

Outsiders in the Renaissance While Leonardo da Vinci is celebrated as an all-around genius, there is still much about his life that remains unknown. One theory is that the inspiration for his creations was his love for a woman. This production depicts the affection and hatred between da Vinci and the figures in his life.

Yusho-Renaissance follows an artist and his companions on a trip to the forest, while a mysterious but beautiful woman follows; without a structural narrative, their journey becomes a lovely but surreal parade of images, altered through editing, filmed at multiple speeds or modified by video manipulation.
