La denuncia di una delle più tragiche situazioni politiche e umane dell'Estremo Oriente, una grande scena dedicata alla leader della dissidenza Aung San Suu Kyi (premio Nobel per la pace), ma ciò che conta è il respiro dell'avventura, condotta da un Boorman ancora in ottima forma.
