Norfolk / 2015
Set in Norfolk, amidst an idyllic, brooding landscape, an innocent teenage boy and his battle-weary father live a simple life. Days are spent hunting, fishing and daydreaming. Out-of-nowhere, disrupting this tranquility, a mysterious intense figure gives the green light for the father to complete one last mission; he is a mercenary, hired to assassinate a group of revolutionaries holed-up in a remote, disused civil service outpost. Norfolk Branches /
Just the thought of riding on the Norfolk byways conjures up the holiday mood. The fact that the branches were filmed in typical summer sunshine undeniably adds to that feeling. When filmed, the branch lines still featured traditional semaphore signals and wooden level crossing gates - opened and shut by hand. We see Cromer Beech signal box and the handling of single line tokens - now history! .Still very much in use are the swing bridges at Reedham and Somerleyton. We visit the former to find out how the mechanism works. What with these bridges, the unique marsh landscape and the long forgotten line side telephone poles and wires still in use, the railways of Norfolk offer a variety all of their own.
Inasmuch - Spirit of the Norfolk Island Custodian / 2016

'Inasmuch' is a documentary that explores the aftermath of the Australian government takeover of the Island, which occurred against the wishes of the Island's majority. Five Norfolk Islanders share their thoughts about the unique heritage they are protecting, and their fears for a world in which they have no say about their future.
Steam Scenes: The North Norfolk Railway /
Running from the coastal resort town of Sheringham to a station constructed in preservation days close to the market town of Holt, todays North Norfolk Railway is established on just over 5 miles of the former Midland & Great Northern Joint Railway's network. Intermediate stations exist at Kelling Heath, a halt also built during the preservation era and Weybourne, where the locomotive fleet is based with restoration and maintenance also being carried out here. Steam trains are captured in action along the route which, despite the county of Norfolk's mainly "flat land" image, features gradients that make locomotives work for their living. Occasionaly trains are seen with the North Sea as a backdrop, a reminder that the line would once have carried holiday makers for a welcomed break from the industrial heartlands of the north and the midlands.
