Eve Barret (Williams), campionessa di nuoto, ha intenzione di presentare la sua linea di costumi da bagno in occasione della sfida di polo tra il Nord e il Sudamerica. Betty, la sorella di Eve, s'innamora del massaggiatore dei sudamericani, scambiandolo per il capitano della squadra del Sud. Il vero capitano, José, s'innamora invece di Eve, non appena la vede. Alla fine, oltre all'amore, vince anche il Sudamerica.
