Needle Park Baby / 2020
Spring 1995 - after the closure of the Needle Park and the public drug scene in Zurich, eleven-year-old Mia and her heroin addicted mother Sandrine are relocated to the countryside. While caring for her mother, Mia spends time with her imaginary friend and a gang of local teenage misfits. These friendships finally give her the strength to rebel and break free from her abusive mother.

Many images such as clock dials, metal needles, mobile phone interfaces, eyeballs, and eye symbols are present. The phrase "future is a repetition of waiting time" repeats in the work in an obscure way; it is the author's question about the future and an answer to this way of "asking questions."

This is probably the highest off the ground that the band has ever performed, but the small club atmosphere followed them up there.

The creative spark for the Space Needle's curves originated in a sculpture called 'The Feminine One.' The film re-traces the Needle's hidden history back to the art, architecture and dance. This new origin story feminizes the Space Needle and also celebrates the legacy of Seattle-born, African-American dancer, Syvilla Fort. Two works were commissioned for project: A poem written and read by Seattle poet Jourdan Imani Keith called 'A Ticket Up.' Nia-Amina Minor choreographed and performed the poem. All the music is by composer and cellist, Gretchen Yanover. Also featured are interviews with Jeff Wright, whose family owns the Space Needle, art historian David Martin, and Peter Steinbrueck, the son of the architect who put the curve in the design.
