Forse il peggior film di fantascienza di ogni tempo" (M. Giusti). Pessimi effetti speciali, trasparenti che non funzionano, attori ingiudicabili. Parolini si firma con lo pseudonimo di Frank Kramer, la Interlenghi appare come Phoenix Grant, Faieta come Eddy Fay; il vero nome di Kendall è Luciano Stella. Uscito in Germania come Yeti, der Schneemensch. In India ne girarono un remake (!): Ajooba Kudrat Kaa ovvero Il magnifico guardiano. Giudizio del Centro Cattolico: "Accettabile, discreto _ Alcune scene di violenza rendono la storiella non adatta agli spettatori più piccoli".
