Niagara Falls / 1896

A stationary camera looks west across Niagara Falls from the United States' side (the Niagara River rushes toward the falls from right to left). Virtually overlooking the falls and surrounded by the swift current not far from the camera is a small island where six or eight tourists watch the water, talk, and move about.

In 2004 and 2005, I made a filmed inventory of the streets and squares of Saint-Marcellin, in the Dauphiné. This movie is called: Across the Universe. In this film, each street and square was filmed in a single sequence shot and each of the plaques for these streets and squares is placed at the beginning of each street and square. In order to offer a maximum of views of the city, here is Les Chutes de Saint-Marcellin, an appendix to Across the Universe which is made up of shots that were not retained for this film but which deserve to be kept and shown.

Cascate Vittoria: Eden africano / 2021

Si possono vedere da distanze fino a 30 km: come un vulcano borbottante e ribollente, pronto a eruttare, una nuvola luminosa si alza dalla terra. E' cosi' che si possono vivere le Cascate Vittoria all'alba. La gente del posto lo chiama: "Il fumo del tuono".Soprattutto nella stagione secca, inizia un'insolita migrazione: famiglie di elefanti vengono qui dal Parco Nazionale di Hwange, a 100 km di distanza. Mentre tutto e' asciutto da dove provengono, c'e' una varieta' di isole sempreverdi appena sopra le cascate. Uno spettacolo meraviglioso si verifica quando gli animali cambiano isola: nuotano attraverso lo Zambesi come se fossero un enorme filo di perle.
