Qui n'a pas connu le stress d'un déménagement ? Surtout quand on est un jeune écrivain comme Alain, sur le point de quitter une bonne maison d'édition pour écrire un sitcom pour la télévision, que sa femme est sur le point d'accoucher et de surcroît quand les déménageurs sont des Roumains qui travaillent au noir et qu'ils n'ont pas vraiment le sens de la ponctualité...

Clovis has eight hours in which to move his household to a tonier apartment. Fortunately, he has his uncle and a circle of good friends to help him get settled in before his girlfriend arrives from England. This bittersweet French slice-of-life film follows their struggle to get the job done in time. The friends include two outspoken women, the clumsy younger brother of his friend, a good-humored bank clerk, and a reserved young man who works at a local mortuary. Later the workers are joined by a Swiss violinist who has come to Paris for an important audition.

I coinquilini Topolino e Paperino sono in ritardo di sei mesi sul pagamento dell'affitto, così lo sceriffo Pietro Gambadilegno li sfratta e decide di mettere all'asta i loro mobili. Mentre lo sceriffo appende fuori gli annunci della svendita di mobili, i due amici decidono di trasferirsi prima che Pietro li possa derubare dei loro beni. In quel momento Pippo, venditore di ghiaccio, arriva con una consegna, e Topolino e Paperino si avvalgono del suo aiuto e del suo camion per andarsene. Mentre Topolino fa i bagagli in fretta e furia, Pippo scopre che il pianoforte che sta cercando di caricare nel camion ha una propria volontà. Nel frattempo Paperino, dopo essersi faticosamente liberato da uno sturalavandino e un acquario che gli rimanevano attaccati addosso, finisce con il becco nella valvola del gas. Il suo corpo si gonfia come un pallone finché non comincia a volare per la stanza.

Un trasloco velocissimo / 1956

Popeye and Bluto are, believe it or not, pals and partners in a moving company. (Maybe it's because Popeye isn't squinting here.) Anyhow, Olive has made the mistake of hiring them. She hasn't finished packing yet, so the boys, smitten as soon as she answers the door, compete to help her. Once packed, they compete to move more impressive piles of her belongings. Popeye easily wins these contests, even though Bluto locks him in the van at one point. At the end, Bluto socks Popeye into the piano, then into a table; though he hardly seems to need it, Popeye still eats his spinach, then thrashes Bluto.
