Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers features what many consider to be one of the fi nest line-ups in the history of jazzÂBobby Timmons (Piano), Jymie Merritt (Bass), Benny Golson (Sax) and the legendary trumpet player, Lee Morgan. Lost for nearly 50 years, this historic 55 minute concert, fi lmed in Belgium in 1958, one month to the day after they recorded their masterpiece Moanin, is the only known visual document of this infl uential band who were together for only six months.

In the fall of 1969, the great French bebop pianist Henri Renaud brought Thelonious Monk into a television studio in Paris. Just Monk, a grand piano and two cameras - no audience, no sidemen, no emcee, no clock-watching stage manager, no set list, no distractions. The result was an astonishingly intimate and revealing portrait of a man and his music. Monk sits at the piano and plays whatever occurs to him. In this case, it was nine originals and two of his favorite standards. NTSC all region, 65 minutes.

Battle of the Icons was a wrestling event held by Ring of Honor. It took place on January 27, 2007 at the Inman Sports Club in Edison, New Jersey. The show was named after it's main event, as ROH icons Homicide and Samoa Joe wrestled for the ROH World Championship. The show also featured a one night reunion of both Generation Next and The Havana Pitbulls, as well as the first match between Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli following the breakup of the Kings of Wrestling at Final Battle 2006.

Oscar Peterson is accompanied by the stellar duo of bassist Ray Brown and drummer Ed Thigpen for each concert performance. This is the classic Oscar Peterson Trio, considered by many to be the best Oscar Peterson Band ever. Oscar and the trio collaborate with trumpeters Clark Terry (Finland'65) and Roy Eldridge (Sweden'63) and re-create some of the excitement and fun of the Jazz at the Philharmonic (JATP) tours. Among the many highlights in this collection are the Oscar and vocalist-trumpeter Clark Terry collaboration on the ever-popular Mumbles ,and for the first time on commercial video, an Oscar Peterson Trio rendition of Tonight from his award-winning West Side Story album.
