Noi italiani, abbiamo dovuto aspettare il 24 agosto 2007 per vederlo su Rai Due. Non al cinema, dunque, ma in televisione. Dario Argento, infatti, signore incontrastato dell'incubo cinematografico italiano, ritorna al tubo catodico dirigendo un film tv per Rai Fiction, prodotto dalla Genesis Motion Pictures. Film tv che dovrebbe essere il pilot di una serie di 8 pellicole: esperimento artistico che aveva già collaudato nel 1973 con gli episodi de La porta sul buio.
