During a strong storm, the power goes out and a woman shows up desperately asking for help: her husband killed her son and now he wants to kill her. From that moment on, danger and deception are a constant threat and for Julián a hellish night begins until he discovers the truth.
Tinghir-Jerusalem: Echoes from the Mellah / 2013
Kamal Hachkar explores the 2000-year-old Mellah in his family's village of Tinghir, Morocco, and follows the trail of the town's once substantial Jewish population to its emigres and descendants in Israel. In the film, he weaves back and forth between his city's old Jewish quarter and Israel, where he meets Sephardic Jews who still hold tight to their Moroccan identity. Presents the story of a long-term collaboration between Jews and Muslims that eventually fell apart. As Hachkar tries to understand exactly what happened, he simultaneously seeks a better way forward.

The Weeknd Celebrates 10-Year Anniversary of ‘Echoes of Silence’ by Sharing Title-Track video. Directed by Kurando Furuya with creative direction from well-known Japanese artist Hajime Sorayama, the CGI visual depicts robots existing in a post-apocalyptic world. Echoes of the Han: A Journey Upstream /
Born in a county town beside the Han River, Wan Ying, the host of the podcast bowuzhi.fm, never found interest in the river that flowed past her home every day. It wasn't until she returned home for a family funeral in early 2023, standing by the riverbank during a night of vigil, that she was deeply moved by the silent flow of the magnificent river. Inspired, she invites a few friends for a journey upstream the Han River, aiming to rediscover the mother river whose name has long been obscured. Han River, China's third mother river, originates between the Bashan Mountains and the Qinling Range. As it flows, it nurtures a commercial golden waterway connecting the north and south of China. This journey uncovers tales of pioneering construction, passionate departures from home, dramatic business legends, scenic views of vast farmlands, and breathtaking mountain vistas shrouded in mist.
