Capriole, salti, equilibrio, arrampicate nelle giungle di cemento... Questo è il parkour, disciplina nata in Francia agli inizi degli anni '90, in un certo senso metafora dell'adolescenza: adattarsi all'ambiente circostante, superando gli ostacoli e creando un proprio percorso personale. Ma è una disciplina rischiosa e per la madre di un ragazzino ipercinetico il dilemma è reale: questa passione può aiutare suo figlio, o rischia di ucciderlo? La madre di Lorenzo sceglie di affrontare il problema con un'indagine che la porta alla scoperta della disciplina, a incontrarne i fondatori, a indagarne la filosofia. Il film diventa così un modo per accompagnare Lorenzo, filmandone le imprese, e ci regala in un alternarsi di adrenalina e pensiero una grande riflessione su cosa sia il pericolo, e su cosa significhi superare insieme le paure.
