Chronology is a puzzle created by images taken from found footage material originated by "Neue Heimat", the architectural project in charge of the reconstruction of Germany after the war. The result is a unique and mysterious atmosphere in which the individual pieces of the puzzle come together and leave it to the observer to create the bigger picture.

Il film si articola in frammenti, ognuno dei quali è separato dall'altro tramite uno stacco e una breve inquadratura nera. Diverse vicende parallele si articolano in contesti spazio-temporali diversi e convergeranno alla fine nell'atto estremo di uno dei protagonisti, il quale entrerà in una banca aprendo il fuoco contro alcuni malcapitati avventori, e in seguito si toglierà la vita nella propria autovettura. I vari frammenti sono articolati secondo un modello irregolare, e i vari momenti del film trovano in apertura alcune immagini riprese da telegiornali reali che raccontano vicende di cronaca appartenenti all'epoca in cui è uscito il film.

The 19th of September of 2021 the volcanic ridge of Cumbre Vieja, on the island of La Palma started erupting. This eruption lasted until the 13th of December of 2021. Lucía and two other filmmakers decided to travel and register the volcano. This is the journal of the first two days, based on the camera errors and casual conversations that were on the footage: Bad focus, being sleepy, journalists not knowing how to name the eruption, instagram, the crunch of Pringles fries, glutamato monosodico, the radio fluctuating between Prince and Elvis, selfies with the volcano, plans for illegal stuff and the seconds before a final system error.
