Shane ha vent'anni, è infelice e lavora in un noioso ufficio sognando di frequentare una scuola d'arte. Quando si trasferisce in un nuovo appartamento il suo coinquilino Vincent, uno studente di moda gay, lo prende in simpatia insegnandogli ad avere stile del vestirsi e stimolando la sua passione per l'arte. Shane si innamora di Gemma, la migliore amica di Vincent, e decide che la sua vita deve assolutamente cambiare. Per caso Shane, bisognoso di denaro dopo aver lasciato il lavoro, si trova a fare da corriere per uno spacciatore di droga che vive nel suo palazzo. In pochi giorni, grazie ai soldi guadagnati, Shane, con l'aiuto di Vincent, diventa uno dei ragazzi piú interessanti della città. Quello che Shane non sa è che la polizia ha seguito le sue tracce e controlla il suo appartamento.
