1913: The Dance of the Century / 2013
1913 is the last peaceful year before the First World War. However, the artists already suspect the dark times in their works: authors write desperate texts, painters destroy perspectives. Igor Stravinsky's 'Le Sacre du Printemps' is the aggressive soundtrack of the cultural revolution.

Images of Stockholm 1913 / 1913
This film moves mostly in the surroundings around the Royal Palace and Strandvägen. The environments are strangely similar compared to how it looks today. The camera is initially placed on Lejonbacken by the castle. It pans to the right over the distinguished Hotell Rydberg and the Royal Opera House. The strolls along Strandvägen are many and the cars few. People stop and contemplate the strange novelty that a man with a movie camera still is. Strömkajen's white archipelago boats in front of the Grand Hotel stand in stark contrast to the toil of the coal carriers at the barges along Strandvägen.

Topical Budget 93-1: The Derby 1913 / 1913
A routine account of the 1913 Epsom Derby, one of many horse races that Topical Budget covered that year, this film inadvertently made a contribution to the history of the suffragette movement by capturing the moment when activist Emily Davison (1872-1913) was trampled by Anmer, King George V's horse, after she had invaded the track and attempted to grab its reins.
Victory Over the Sun: A Recreation of the 1913 Performance / 1984
The 1913 Russian Futurist opera Victory Over the Sun follows several archetypes such as The Fat Man, The Strong Men of the Future, and Nero-and-Caligula-In-One-Person as the sun is defeated in battle and imprisoned in a concrete house. The DVD discusses the process of recreating the partially lost opera for its first performance in nearly 70 years. Director Robert Benedetti narrates the film as a documentary on the recreation process and as a guide to the surreal plot of the opera itself. A stage performance of the opera (translated into English) comprises the bulk of the film.
