NE’ MURI NE’ SILENZI è una testimonianza corale della sofferenza provocata dall’occupazione dell’esercito israeliano in Palestina. Il film parte dal resoconto del viaggio in Israele e nei Territori Occupati compiuto nell’agosto 2004 da Nandino Capovilla. Un viaggio costellato di incontri e testimonianze dirette, alla costante ricerca di segni di speranza e di pace al di qua e al di là di qualsiasi ‘barriera’, per abbattere tutti i muri, anche quello impenetrabile del silenzio. Accompagnato dalle lucide e toccanti parole di Etty Hillesum, giovane donna ebrea deportata ed uccisa ad Auschwitz Nandino percorre, insieme agli israeliani ed ai palestinesi che lavorano per la pace, i sentieri della sofferenza, dell’umiliazione, ma anche quelli del desiderio di denuncia e di ricostruzione nella giustizia.
