L'allegria però non gli manca, e così se ne va in giro a intonare canzoni che narrano di pranzi principeschi e piatti faraonici, con l'amico Pulcinella al seguito. Accade una magia: Totò trova quattro vecchie pentole annerite - Marmittone, Sora Pasta, Tegamino e Pentolino - che trasformano qualsiasi schifezza in una prelibatezza. La fama di Totò arriva fino al Palazzo Reale, ma suscita anche la pericolosa invidia della strega Vesuvia e del perfido cuoco di corte Mestolon. Grandi investimenti per un film che vede anche l'intervento del dialoghista del trio Aldo, Giovanni e Giacomo e la supervisione al doppiaggio di Lello Arena. Italian cartoon al 100% il film è piacevole e avrà probabilmente più successo all'estero dove l'"italian pizza" (n on solo quella dei fast food) è molto apprezzata.

Frank, tuttavia, trova un alleato in Tyrie, a sua volta di colore e di professione baro. In un momento critico i due vengono protetti da una donna, ex prostituta, che, allo scopo di difendere i due, finge di rubare la sacca del denaro e attira su di sé le raffiche di mitragliatrice degli aggressori. Prima dell'ultimo decisivo incontro, Frank affida il denaro al piccolo Chico e si nasconde in una miniera abbandonata che farà saltare. Salvi per miracolo, bagnati per una nuotata fuori programma, i due amici si dirigono allegramente verso Sonora.
