Rohit Mamu (Ruslaan Mumtaz) is a man who dreams of being rich one day. These dreams and his investments in them have taken him from being reasonably well off to flat broke. Akhil Bhanja (Tanay Chheda) is a 10-year-old mischievous school boy with a rather crazy streak. There is very little love lost between Mamu (maternal uncle) and Bhanja (nephew) as Rohit has been at the receiving end of many of Akhil's pranks. A crazy turn of events brings the two under one roof for two weeks. Life under Mamu's supervision is now a constant strife for Bhanja. There are a series of clashes between the two as Rohit tries to discipline Akhil but this master-of-manipulation Bhanja more often than not, gets the better of Mamu. Akhil's secret ambition to become a VJ collide with a museum trip, a diamond robbery, the Runaway Bhanja, the police and crooks on Mamu's tail - to converge in an action-packed, rib-tickling climax before the various plots resolve themselves.

A young man tries to enter the building of the Mammoth Cybernetic Supermachines Research Institute again and again but each time the doorkeeper spots him and kicks him out. The youth finally arrives with all his friends and a huge live bear from the circus where he works as an accountant. He is finally allowed in where he explains to the members of the directorate that he wants to work at the Institute, since he graduated in cybernetics and, besides, he has invented a machine for forecasting time of death. When the conniving research manager learns that their director is going to die in two days, he hopes to rise to his position.

Ghosts / 2021

Ghosts, in the folklore of many cultures, are supposed spirits or souls. Traditionally they were believed to be images of deceased people, but the truth is that they can take different forms. Combining visual techniques such as Super-8 format and collage, "Mamuak" is a small audiovisual essay on the architectural and cultural changes that Bilbao has undergone, taking as a starting point the disappearance of the neighborhood movie theaters.

La musica araba-andalusa è caratterizzata dal ritmo e dalla velocità. Questo tipo di musica è infatti basata su quattro tipi di ritmo: hejej, ramel, primo takil e secondo takil, ed è la velocità a contraddistinguere le diverse varietà. Questa dipende infine non dalle sillabe del testo ma dall'argomento trattato. Tale tipo di musica si è evoluta nella penisola iberica, e fu esiliata in nord Africa con la caduta di Granada nel 1492. Gli arabi consideravano ogni tipo di musica immorale e religiosa perchè violava le loro leggi religiose, di conseguenza era limitata agli schiavi ed ai bardi come forma di intrattenimento; col tempo, comunque, queste canzoni divennero popolari ed accettate in tutte le arene sociali. Portati in Europa da Rachid Guerbas ed accompagnati da quattro grandi maestri della tradizione algerina, l'Albacyn Ensemble suona uno dei sedici nouba del repertorio arabo-andaluso.

Doug, Phil, Stu e Alan sono un gruppo di amici che, all'annuncio del matrimonio di Doug, decidono di organizzare una festa di addio al celibato a Las Vegas. Phil e Stu sono amici d' infanzia dello sposo: uno è un sereno insegnante delle elementari, mentre l'altro è un dentista, convivente con una gelosa quanto atroce compagna; Alan è invece lo stravagante fratello della promessa sposa di Doug ed accetta di partecipare una volta invitato dal cognato.Giunti a Las Vegas i quattro si recano sul tetto dell'albergo in cui risiedono e una volta qui iniziano a bere in onore della loro amicizia. Il mattino seguente gli amici si svegliano intontiti e privi di ricordi della sera precedente e dopo aver riacquistato un minimo di lucidità si accorgono che la stanza dell'hotel è totalmente sottosopra e che il loro amico Doug, lo sposo, è scomparso nel nulla.
