Two short stories set in Edo during the Shogun era. 1 - During a time when Christians are persecuted vehemently, Iori falls in love with young Christian girl. When she and her family are captured during a raid, his sadistic master takes her as his personal slave to torment Iori, and tries breaking her spirit by means of rape, torture and pure sadism. After Iori refuses to participate any longer he is exiled, but vows to get her back no matter what it takes. 2 - When Sutezo is forced to serve the barbarous master of a brothel in order to repay his debts, he becomes friends with a young girl named Sato in process. Together, they both escape and try to get by on scams and petty theft.

Yuki / 1981

Up in Heaven, Yuki’s grandparents decide that, having turned thirteen years old, she must go down to Earth to a village that is torn by bandits and intervene to save its people. However if she does not succeed within one year she will become as insubstantial as the wind. Down in the village, Yuki is befriended by a group of orphans whose parents have all been killed by the bandits and who now subsist by begging. Yuki amazes them by taming the wild horse Blizzard. She is instrumental in getting the orphans and farmers to stand up to first the warring bandits and then Goemon, the greedy lord that owns the region. But Yuki must face her greatest challenge yet when the displeased Demon God that lives in the volcano emerges to destroy those who live beneath.

Hong Kong. Chang, un maestro cinese di arti marziali, abbandona la propria palestra per intraprendere un viaggio nella zona del Siam lasciando la scuola nelle mani della sorella Liu. Giunto a destinazione, conosce Gisha e la sua bella ragazza. Chang diventa amico di Gisha dopo averlo salvato da alcuni aggressori con la sua tecnica e gli insegna alcuni tra i segreti più profondi dell'arte marziale cinese. Tupien, un abile maestro di arti marziali, arriva alla palestra di Chang dove distrugge il posto. In seguito organizza un incontro con Chang fingendo di avere rimorso per le sue azioni ma lo ammazza senza pietà. Dal Siam giungono poi Gisha e la sua ragazza. I due, fingendosi a loro volta intimoriti dalla bieca sfrontatezza di Tupien, lo invitano a cena con la scusa di ufficializzare il suo fidanzamento con Liu. Giunti sul porto, Tupien e i suoi uomini vengono affrontati e uccisi senza pietà.
