Moving / 2014
"Moving" tells the story of Peacey and Nadav, two movers who struggle to make a living under their oppressive boss in the moving company. The two make a rash decision to steal the company's truck with all it's content and sell it, but when their boss discovers the plot conspired under his very nose, a brutal clash between them becomes inevitable.

Ngau Tau Kok Estate is one of the oldest and largest public housing projects in Hong Kong. Most of the residents are either elderly and live alone, or working class families. Since 2001, after the government announced its plan to redevelop the area, residents have been gradually relocated to new housing estates. Following two social workers who work with the residents as they deal with the relocation, the film offers is a glimpse of the lives of old people. It is a group portrait of our parents and grandparents.

In Banteay Meanchey province, Mom Beng, Vai Sok and their daughter Chanra are homeless and have to move their temporary shelter as they get evicted from the land where they settled. They use their cart both to move their belongings and to offer delivery services. Mom would like to go and work in Thailand but Vai feels happy as it is, with his family around.

As with "SPIN", an abstract animation with delicate line drawings. There are single color and color versions. Nakamura Shigenobu is in charge of the music used in the work like the previous one.

A man, wearing a female dress, has just moved into his new home. Beyond his humorous plot, 'the move' in this case also wants to represent another symbolic 'transfer': the restitution of dignity denied by the male world to the female, throughout the human history.

In the village, in a small house by the river, an old man lives with his granddaughter. They live a simple life in harmony with the extensive nature. One day, the man’s daughter, living in the city and doing everything in order to survive in an hostile social environment, comes home and asks him to sell a house and move to live with her in the city.

Project: Moving sees a young professional explore and debate the trend of young people leaving Rīga for somewhere more suitable for living, particularly the town of Cēsis in the scenic Vidzeme region. "We are simply showing that right now Cēsis has become the hipster capital, and it's not bad at all. It's like a different kind of gentrification, and it affects not just a single quarter, but the entire town."

The Choreographer and filmmaker have collaborated on the work under some rules. 1. To structuralize the movements such as behaviour, pose and gesture of the commonplace. 2. No to emotion. 3. No to style. 4. To study the condition of secrets to place the body. 5. Direct demonstration not depiction. 6. To equalize the strength of movements. 7. To ensure the initiate of movements independently that does does not contribute to the representation. We did shoot during the day, and collect the images of ordinary landscape without intention. Projecting the inappropriate images of reality in juxtaposition with side by side would lasts as the form where might be acquaintance rather than the image of metaphor.
