SCANDAL Documentary film MIRROR / 2023

With the album "MIRROR" announced in January 2022, the band's second world tour, including Japan, North America, and Europe, was held from March to September 2022. Recorded the final performance in Paris on September 27th. A literal documentary film containing not only live footage but also valuable backstage footage.

MIRROR "ONE & ALL" LIVE 2021 / 2021

Marking their second anniversary, MIRROR held the live concert "ONE & ALL" at the KITEC Star Hall for six consecutive days in May 2021. Hong Kong's biggest boy band lit up the stage with their chart-topping hits "ASAP", "Warrior", "IGNITED" and "Reflection", and showed their talents with various solo and unit stages.

Thirteen women, of varying age, size, and ethnicity, reveal the ambivalence with which they regard their own bodies. Their musings about specific body parts are underscored by archival footage of beauty competitions.

Three stars appear in two separate but intertwined stories of romantic triangles gone wrong in this ambitious drama. The wife becomes involved with a swarthy working man, Larnier, and their passion knows no boundaries of caution or safety. Eventually, Eponine's and Larnier's lust drives them to madness, and they murder Hagolin. The second tale concerns an up-and-coming young lawyer, Claude, whose mentor is a highly successful veteran attorney, Lamerciere, with a beautiful young wife named Florence. Claude finds himself defending Larnier and Eponine, while Lamerciere dies of a heart attack after he discovers that Florence has been unfaithful to him with Claude.

Director Tom Kalin uses the elegant dynamism of parkour as a motif for aspiration in Mirror Mirror's Sublime Objective music video. The lyrics speak to striving for a goal, while the music suggests a transcendent state: a relationship that Kalin explores with the use of Shaker-inspired movement, bubbles, and imagery of rainbows and light halos.
