In Transit, Identity and Love in Europe / 2020
The film follows six people with dual European nationalities for four years. Some of them are confronted with the current political events in Europe, like the Brexit, the Catalan crisis in Spain, yellow vests in France – and in the end the (possible) consequences of Covid 19. At the same time, we see their personal lives: some of them get engaged or get married, but things don’t always go as the protagonists would like – or as the director would like. ‘In Transit’ shows the implications that politics have on the microlevel of people’s lives and gives the recent political events in Europe a human dimension. The film is also a personal journey into a continent that is going through some big changes.

Double Identity / 2022
As a teenager growing up in East London, the constant decisions about how to behave and how these choices affect us is a major responsibility and has been communicated in the narrative. This piece explores this sense of right and wrong and specifically the theme of duality and the Jungian phycological idea that everyone has a shadow side - which are the things within them that they hide from others and sometimes from themselves. My short film will explore these differences in an effort to highlight the power of the conscience.

Identity in Isolation / 1995
Through a unique combination of visual images the video plays with a certain vision of reality and illusion - histories and culture(s) and the ambiguities of a cultural or a national identity. The artist combines the work created - video and computer techno-applications to explore her aesthetics ... Each set of geographical, political and sociological circumstances prescribe different labels. We come to believe in labels and to limit ourselves within the parameter of that imposed identity. We have to struggle to mediate between what we know to be the self and the outward deluge of imposed descriptors.
Building of an Identity / 2022
Consisting of eighteen segments depicting what people need from life and what they add to it, the film puts an emphasis on sound and quiet just as much as it does on light and shadow. It commemorates a decade of having a video camera in your pocket at all times ready to capture whatever is worth taking the camera out of your pocket for.

Multiracial people are the fastest growing demographic in America, yet there is no official political recognition for mixed-race people. For some Whites multiracialism represents the pollution of the White race. For some Blacks it represents an attempt to escape Blackness. And for some Asians, Latinos, and Arabs, multiracialism can be seen as ill equipped to perpetuate cultural traditions and therefore represents the dilution of the culture.
