One morning, Kazue is nearly knocked over by a motorbike in front of an instrument store, breaking all the records that she was carrying. The two connect instantly and begin seeing each other every day. However, Iwai, Yukio’s foster parent, is concerned - Yukio had been exposed to the atomic bomb when he was four years old and had been showing symptoms of atomic radiation, hospitalizing him in the Genbaku Atomic Bomb Survivor’s Hospital. Unfortunately, nobody knows when the symptoms may return. When Yukio passes out from anemia during work, he decides to part with Kazue. A couple of days later, Yukio tells her of his destiny at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, but Kazue passionately encourages him.

Using up all her savings and going into debt, she teamed up with cinematographer Otsu Koshiro and collected these testimonials from zainichi North and South Koreans living in Hiroshima and South Korean hibakusha visiting Japan for medical treatment.

It was declared as the sixth-largest non-nuclear-related blast in history as approximately 2,750 tons of ammonium nitrate exploded in Beirut’s main port. Performing Hiroshima with Hiroe-san" by Saki Yamada depicts a woman who was exposed to radiation in utero about 1 km from the hypocenter when the atomic bomb was dropped, as herself, her mother, and the narrator of a life, speaking to the camera. Until the End of the Dream" by Natsuka Kusano depicts a woman who has just lost someone important to her as she deals with her "loss" and goes about her daily life. The four short stories "Wherever It May Be" by Mikio Endo follows a theater company's rehearsal of a play about Hiroshima and a young man participating in the rehearsal as a sound staff member, who collects sounds in the outdoors.
