The Last Race / 1979
Twelve-year-old son of a divorced parents live in a skyscraper, but the drab of urban living is somewhat improved by the proximity of hippodrome and horse farm. Boy's favorite is a former champion named Evergreen, a stud whom the administration decides to sell to the slaughterhouse. After an unsuccessful attempt to change their mind, children steal the horse and disappear. After realizing what this horse mean to them, they give it as a present to the boy's class.

Tutto accade nell'arco di tre giorni, quelli necessari al cargo Morning Star per fare il suo carico e ripartire. Francois (Franco Nero), simpatico marinaio sceso a terra per un versamento bancario, si trovera' coinvolto in una serie di avventure mozzafiato che lo costringeranno a lottare per raggiungere due obiettivi precisi: recuperare diecimila dollari e fare ritorno alla nave prima che salpi. I diecimila dollari sono il frutto di sudati risparmi accumulati da Francois per realizzare il sogno della sua vita: aprire un bar a Tahiti. Tra mille difficolta' c'e' un aspetto piacevole, un inaspettato colpo di fulmine: Vanessa (Barbara De Rossi), la giovane attrice di un teatrino "off" di New York, inquieta, un po' svanita e deliziosamente fuori luogo nella foresta.

Racing Legends / 2011
Director Norman Luo and choreographer Bruce Law, along with the four protagonists Eric Tsang, Shawn Dou, Shin and Wang Bojie attended the event. As the first Chinese action film to focus on racing, "Racer Legend" tells the tale of three racers played by Shawn Dou, Shin and Wang Bojie, who all belongs to the same team of racers. Eric Tsang portrays the coach of the team. The famous singer Shin, who makes his film debut in this film, sang the theme song of the film at the press conference. Eric Tsang, the supervisor who also acts in the film, revealed on the set that Shawn has grown up to be mature actor, having developed his acting skills since he was the young actor who played in "Under the Hawthorn Tree".

A surgeon saves an notorious mobster's life. This could be the answer to the doctor's problems, as he is engaged to an unbearable, hysterical woman. The mobster agrees to assassinate her. Except for one thing. The mobster has the wrong target, a young, innocent journalist who resembles his fiancee. When the surgeon discovers they are after the wrong woman, he takes off in a mad race to Cote d'Azur to save the wrong woman from being murdered.
Dog Race / 1998
Ethnically Korean Japanese filmmaker Yoichi Sai directs this madcap crime comedy. Nakayama (Goro Kishitani) is a suave police detective who doesn't play by the rules. He busts a drug ring, but not before sampling a few of the wares, and he closes down an underaged prostitution ring after enjoying the company of a school girl hooker. One of duties is to shake down sniveling Korean gangster Hideyoshi (Ren Osugi) for information. In spite of their positions on opposite sides of the law, the two discover that they share a fair amount in common. A disregard for the law and the love of a comely prostitute from China named Momo-chan (Makoto Togashi). Though Hideyoshi is running an illegal alien smuggling ring with her and has lusted for her from a far for quite a while, Nakayama manages to bed her first. When she does finally appear in Hideyoshi's bed, she's unfortunately a corpse.
