This is the first film to reveal the killing of dolphins during purse seine tuna fishing operations of both the U.S. and foreign fleets in the eastern tropical Pacific Ocean, and a film which, after a national primetime Discovery Channel broadcast led to all three U.S. tuna canneries halting the take of tuna caught by setting nets around dolphins. Hosted by Academy-Award winner George C. Scott, Where Have All the Dolphins Gone? also reveals the lives of these animals, the importance of their social makeup, and the devastation to their societies by this fishing method which killed over 10 million dolphins; over 250,000 in one year alone.

With unlimited time of stay and access to the city, these guys have been able to really explore Tbilisi, discover new spots and bomb its hills, which have a distinct feel about them. Tbilisi undoubtedly has much more to offer and will hopefully establish its own presence in the European skate scene soon.

The God of Day Had Gone Down Upon Him / 2000

This film of single-strand photography begins with the "fire" of reflective light on water and on the barest inferences of a ship. Throughout, the interwoven play of light and water tell the inferred "tale" of the film through rhythm, the tempo, through visible textures and forms in gradual evolution, through resultant "moods" generated by these modes of making, and, then, by the increasingly distant boat images, birds, animals, fleeting silhouettes of people and their artifacts, flotsam and jetsam of the sea-dead, as well as (near end, and almost as at a funeral) flowers in bloom, swallowed by darkness midst the crumbling of the sand castles.
