Cohen also allows us a glimpse of his archives and waxes eloquent over a meal at Canter’s deli in L.A. A glimpse of the artist as you’ve never seen him before, this documentary is a must for Cohen fans and features a soundtrack of some of his best songs.

Roberto Soto is a renowned Spanish science fiction screenwriter. He has won a Goya award and his screenplays are internationally acknowledged. However, his producer is tired of science fiction and believes that, in Spain, he has to write films of different genres, something more intellectual and existential: social dramas, enriching values, philosophy, etc. With these arguments, the producer demands him a screenplay that has nothing to do with science fiction. As a result, Roberto has to decide whether to write what he's good at and was born for, or to do what he has been told. Roberto is forced into resigning and doing what he is paid to do: he locks himself in the living room with his typewriter in order to write a screenplay according to what is expected, with the urgency of the producer's visit, who wants to check up on his work. Guido Magnone disegna a mano scatole di cartone per la piccola attività dei suoi genitori. Un amico pittore ama la sua pennellata e lo spinge a frequentare le Belle Arti. Supera un concorso esterno, lo vince, fa amicizia con gli scultori César e Féraud, surrealisti, un pugno di bohémien. Ha poi scoperto la montagna ed è diventato rapidamente uno dei migliori alpinisti della sua generazione. Ha fatto conquiste prestigiose come la parete ovest dei Drus nelle Alpi, le prime salite del Fitz Roy in Patagonia con Lionel Terray o del Makalu in Himalaya... Magnone ha anche partecipato alla creazione dell'UCPA e sarà presidente della Groupe de Haute Montagne dal 1961 al 1965. Dal 1977 Guido torna alla sua prima passione: la scultura, per dedicarsi completamente ad essa intorno al 1990. Riprende ad esporre nel 1996. Nel 2002 espone le sue sculture a Parigi, Bourg-la- Reine, Aosta poi a Etroubles nel 2009.
