Hai cercato: The Process
The Procession / 2012
A mother and son attend a funeral for someone they really don't know, and intend to leave right after, but end up leading the procession to the burial.
The Cast: Procession /
The Cast (Procession) recalls the the protests that broke out among extras in 1958 during filming of the Hollywood production Ben Hur in the Cinecittà film studio near Rome, which was originally founded by Mussolini. Thousands of unemployed workers had hoped to be hired for the scenes featuring human masses. When they were turned away they stormed the film studio. In the film, the voices of the protesters of yesterday are played by cultural activists of the present: members of the Teatro Valle Occupato, who came together in 2011 in order to save the Teatro Valle, the oldest theatre in Rome, by assuming collective management of the theatre. - e-flux
Charles Manson, The Church of Satan, The Universal Order & The Process Church of Final Judgment / 2012
Out of the spiritual chaos of the 1960s, more strange cults and unorthodox messiahs have emerged than ever. Charles Manson is seen as the annoying result of libertarianism of the 1960s - the Cain who murdered the Abel from The Love Generation. Or in the words of one commentator; "the Elvis of alienation."

The Process Church of the Final Judgement - A Sabbath Assembly Ritual and Salon / 2009
This is a video performance of their holiest ritual, the Sabbath Assembly, as recorded August 23, 2009 at The Silent Movie Theater in Los Angeles CA. About 50% of the video is the ritual itself, consisting of recitations from their unique liturgy interspersed with vintage hymns. The text is read by original Process minister Sammy M Nasr and the songs are performed here by the band Sabbath Assembly (Jex Thoth, Imaad Wasif, Kevin Rutmanis and Dave Nuss - obviously taking their name from the ceremony itself). Following the ritual is a slideshow presentation on the church narrated by original Process member/author Timothy Wyllie and finally a Q&A interview with Timothy conducted by Feral House publisher Adam Parfrey. So while it's not a documentary exactly, you certainly learn about the history of the church, its practices, and get a good feel of what it was like to be a member.

Bani Abidi emphatically presents scenes from the daily lives of the Hazara community in Quetta, Pakistan, alongside narratives of persecution and exodus. This Shia Muslim ethnic minority in today's predominantly Sunni Pakistan has sought refuge in Germany, where the artist is based. She collaborates with Quetta-based photographer Asef, who is working on assembling a book of photographs that offer a glimpse into private moments in Hazara homes: images that reveal personal stories of loss and resilience.
The Process Trilogy / 2019
The Process Trilogy is an experimental short film trilogy in which the audience answer questions which determines their edit of the film. This trilogy follows three seemingly separate stories: a horror film fan dealing with insomnia and 'another self', an artist struggling with her masterpiece and two clowns who may never find the punchline. The pieces centre around bittersweet comedy, bleak surrealism and experimental filmmaking and mark the third creative project from ChewBoy Productions. They deal with the facts that we may never find happiness in our lives or our work, and that ultimately, we always end up back where we started. Before the screening, audiences were invited to answer a series of questions. We then put all the answers into our algorithm, creating a truly individual cut of the films which were representative of the room's overall worldview, perceptions, personality and feeling. This version of the film is a suggested edit.

The Still Image and the Labour Process: An Agitka /
The Still Image and the Labour Process: An Agitka is an experimental short film made in the style of a silent Soviet agitational-propaganda short (agitka). In proper Soviet, or perhaps Vertovian, fashion, it argues through intertitles and montage that the cinema is a weapon for destroying the commodifying effects of still photography.
