Allman Brothers Band - With Eric Clapton at the Beacon Theatre, NYC / 2009

On 19 March, 2009 Eric Clapton joined the Allman Brothers Band on stage at The Beacon Theatre in New York City for the first of two historic guest appearances. Other guests that evening were Susan Tedeschi and Danny Louis of Gov't Mule. This year marks the 20th Anniversary of Allman Brothers Band performances at the Beacon and the 40th Anniversary of their founding.

Un satellite della Nasa ed altre stazioni dell'emisfero australe captano un radiosegnale sconosciuto la cui fonte sembra essere un oggetto imprigionato nei ghiacci dell'Antartide. La registrazione del segnale perviene al dottor Julian Rome che ne riconosce subito l'origine artificiale, e viene inviato sul posto per una indagine più approfondita. Nella base-laboratorio di Rundell Peak, dove è stato trasportato l'oggetto, Rome ritrova la sua ex moglie Kate Brecher che si occupa di ingegneria genetica. In breve, Rome riesce a decodificare il messaggio, e scopre che è una richiesta di soccorso e di un allarme, che avverte di non aprire la bio-capsula, all'interno della quale giace in animazione sospesa uno dei due alieni precipitati sulla Terra (l'altro è caduto a Roswell). Ma è troppo tardi: l'involucro è stato aperto, l'extraterrestre si è risvegliato e l'agente patogeno letale di cui è portatore comincia a mietere vittime tra il personale.
