Takeshi Kitano è un attore giapponese conosciuto in tutto il mondo. Ma chi ha contribuito al suo successo? Kitano iniziò la scalata alla ribalta nel distretto di Asakusa, a Tokyo, studiando con Senzaburo Fukami, un comico un tempo molto affermato in Giappone ma che era precipitato nel dimenticatoio. Ma si avvalse anche del contributo di alcuni colleghi, che non lo hanno però più seguito dopo l’arrivo all’apice della popolarità. Sotto la guida del suo mentore, Kitano lavorò duramente per perfezionare la sua arte e poter così realizzare il sogno di diventare un comico affermato. E una serie manga realizzata da Akiyoshi Ohta e disegnata da Munyū e pubblicato in Giappone dalla Media Factory a partire dal 2010. Nel 2012 il manga è stata adattata in due episodi OAV prodotti dallo studio GoHands. La storia ruota attorno a Yuuki Kagami, un ragazzo che riesce a entrare nella scuola da lui più ambita con una borsa di studio, ma che per errore viene messo nel dormitorio femminile nel quale i maschi sono rigidamente interdetti.
