The competitions feature robots in the 1-120 pound weight classes. L'allora trentenne Gonzalo Rubalcaba, il suo bassista Ron Carter (classe 1937) ed il batterista Julio Barreto (il più giovane, nato nel 1967) sono i tre protagonisti di questo concerto, registrato nella Munich Philarmonic Hall nel luglio 1994. Con due cubani all'interno del gruppo, ci si potrebbe aspettare un feeling latino nei ritmi, ma il trio stupisce, preferendo invece suonare nel solco della tradizione jazz ed offrendo esecuzioni dal repertorio del bebop più classico, con qualche incursione in territori più moderni. L'anima latina esce comunque nell'ultimo brano, in cui i tre mescolano le loro conoscenze jazz al sound caraibico della composizione, comunque mai uscendo dal seminato.

Hans Münch was an infectious disease physician at KZ Auschwitz. His task was to prevent epidemics in the overcrowded camps. When he was forced to actively participate in the mass murder, he began to protest. At the trials in Krakow in 1947 against SS men who committed war crimes, Münch was acquitted. He had refused to participate in the selection, that is, the sorting out of those to be killed and some KZ prisoners testified in his favor. Hans Wilhelm Münch (1911 - 2001) was a German Nazi Party member who worked as an SS physician during World War II at the Auschwitz concentration camp from 1943 to 1945 in German occupied Poland.

What remains, unedited, of the first episode of a serial by several hands, subject to a form of supervision-control by Fischinger. It opens with an extremely happy image (a "creative hand" which subsequently returns from time to time) — with shading and movements which appear to have been achieved by the use of the Rotoscope — characters who evoke the commedia dell’arte, in a somewhat joyless tone, but visually dramatic and with echoes of "caligarism". Enno Patalas would like to visit the other surviving episodes, better to understand the spirit of the operation conceived by Louis Seel, designer emeritus and the inspiration of the project.
