All My Loved Ones / 1999
Told from the perspective of man reflecting on his childhood in Prague in the early years of World War II and the eventual destruction of his family as the Nazis rise to power. The storyline focuses heavily on Jewish-Czech Silberstein family members. Drama was filmed on the real events as a tribute to Mr. Nicholas Winton, the British humanitarian who organized the rescue of 669 children, most of them Jewish, from Czechoslovakia on the eve of the Second World War in an operation later known as the Czech Kindertransport from German-occupied Czechoslovakia and likely death in the Holocaust.

Roberto Monti, appena uscito a diciotto anni dal collegio ove è stato ospitato malvolentieri quale figlio del fondatore, per la sua spiccata passione per i motori trova, dapprima, un lavoro come meccanico addetto ad una stazione di servizio e successivamente come venditore di automobili. Durante questa attività, il giovane tra le diverse donne con le quali ha delle avventure galanti, ha modo di conoscere Laura, una baronessa trentacinquenne, padrona di una casa di mode ed Olga, una amica di questa e proprietaria di una fabbrica di elicotteri. L'incontro con la sedicenne Irene conduce Roberto a perdere il suo impiego e l'amicizia con Laura. Le peregrinazioni del giovane, alla ricerca di un posto, terminano con la sua assunzione nell'azienda di Olga, zia di Irene; in questa occasione la ragazza ha la possibilità di stringere la sua rete amorosa e di indurre Roberto al matrimonio.

All of these people depend on Normande in various ways and exploit her; Normande, desperate to be loved, is driven mad by the demands of her parasite family. When she receives an eviction notice stating that the building will be demolished and rebuilt into a restaurant, it all becomes too much for Normande and her mind retreats into fantasy to protect her from the harsh realities.
