The Warwick Rowers Charity Calendar making of films are rightly famous. Shot and edited by a world-class director/editor since 2012, In this second film, in Spain, is shot in an extraordinary private garden that overlooks the Straits of Gibraltar, where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean sea. As well as the dramatic and unique location, we are delighted that we were able to bring a total of twelve rowers to Spain this year. The privacy of the garden, the warmth of the Mediterranean summer and the camaraderie between such a large group of rowers make this a film like nothing we’ve made before.

The Film That Changed The World is a documentary film about the story of William and Anais Yeager and the making of the film trilogy Jesus of Malibu. For 7 years husband and wife and independent filmmakers William and Anais Yeager devoted their lives to create a transcendental film, one that would raise the conscious awareness of humanity and change the world. The Yeagers’ remarkable story and their David and Goliath determination to accomplish their mission is a testament of courage and faith. Jesus of Malibu was completed with no investors or film crew, not even a one-person crew. The film was written, produced, directed, and acted by William and Anais Yeager. The Yeagers also composed all the music for the soundtrack. The film was created by a method the Yeagers called Transcendental Filmmaking.

The Man Who Filmed the Somme / 2016

A documentary about the newsreel footage that cameraman Geoffrey Malins shot of the first few days' fighting of the Battle of the Somme in July 1916, during the First World War. He was allowed extensive access to the trenches at the front line, as what would nowadays be termed an "embedded journalist". His footage, edited into a feature-length film, were shown as a propaganda film and seen by an estimate 20 million people back home - half the British population at the time.

The Holidaymakers, a 2005 fan documentary about the Clientele, begins with home-video footage from the early ’90s of the nascent London band — probably just out of their teens at the time — rehearsing in a suburban backyard while the light of a stunning summer’s day begins to fade. Thanks to a combination of outdated technology, a worn and possibly oft-copied videotape, and the perfectly imperfect shadows and sunspots that only nature can provide, the footage is unintentionally, unbearably poignant: a surviving materialization of the blurred memory of lost youth, still tangible but beginning to erode, and all the more beautiful for its apparent fragility.
