A predominantly auditory experience where most of the time is made of “Dark Space” and suspense. The visual and narrative structure of the film imagines a reversal and transitions of perspective between sound and image, where the natural world is “Shown” mainly through the reverberation of sounds produced in a state of suspension and surprise. An initiatory path, started through the subtraction of “Visible Frames” (primary elements), which transformed the absence of information into an opportunity for creating intimacy in a new emotional perception and creative space.

The term Lascar is said to come from Persian, meaning "army." It was notably used during the 19th century to designate South East Asian native soldiers enrolled by the European colonial forces at sea. In the 1990s in France, Lascar has become a contemptuous qualifier, referring to 2nd and 3rd generation French BIPOC kids from the suburbs-from their daily struggles to their knowledge-making.

In the Darkest Hour /

Two Scottish soldiers - Hamish McNeill & Gordon McGregor - are stranded in German-occupied territory and decide on a bold plan to get out of trouble: they will swap their uniforms for civvies and set off on foot for the British lines. However, they have not gone very far before their dislike of each other flares into open conflict and they tumble together down a hill right into the path of a German patrol. It is now that Hamish's native Gaelic tongue comes to their aid, confusing the German soldiers and buying them precious time to come up with a plan to fool the Germans into letting them go. Transferred to Nazi Headquarters in Berlin, they must somehow pull together to survive. If not, death by firing squad is certain.

Shots in the Dark is a snapshot of the current controversy surrounding vaccination. Although controversy over vaccinations is not new, current childhood immunization schedules include twice the amount of vaccines compared to 25 years ago, with multiple vaccines given simultaneously being the norm. In addition, elements used in the preparation of vaccines such as mercury and aluminum have not been tested for safety in humans since the early 1920’s. These facts, along with the increase in diagnosed cases of autism spectrum disorders and learning disabilities, coupled with the striking similarity in parental and physician post vaccination observations, direct the film’s exploration of the contention between government agencies, legal authorities, watchdog associations, drug companies, physicians, parents, and children.
