On a country road, a car catches sight of a man standing on the side of the road. The man gives a signal to the car. But the car passes by. Using a large number of still photographs, this experimental animation shows the hitchhiker's inability to wait for a car. A dizzying amount of work has gone into this 9-minute film.

Francois is a hard working husband and dad that gets laid off from his job. None of his efforts to get another job succeed and he is forced to use what he has, including an old bicycle, in order to provide for his family. With the help of his "black sheep" brother, a bicycle shop owner and a pro-cyclist, Francois makes some life-changing discoveries about his life, career and faith in God. Although a fictional story, Break Away, was inspired by true events around the recession that left people without work. The message brings hope and offers practical and Biblical solutions in a very entertaining way.

Dawn Breaking / 2018
A large-scale solo exhibition by Chinese contemporary video artist Yang Fudong — grandly opened in the West Bund of Shanghai Art Museum. Yang collaborated with actors including Tan Zhuo, Lu Yulai, Xu Caigen, etc., and showed a 30-day art museum 'new film plan' for the audience at the museum. The Northern Song Dynasty Church and Nietzsche texts are the solemn philosophical language randomly selected by the director as a dialogue in the shooting scenes, and accompanied by the incomparable tone, gestures and facial expressions of the performers. Through this abstraction, stimulation breeds suspense, absurdity, and confusion. To be sure, Yang Fudong has once again found a strong personal style in recycling history.

In 2011, Alison Chow participated in the 38th Berlin Marathon. She finished the marathon in 2 hours 49 minutes and 57 seconds, 7 minutes slower than the Olympics entry requirement, thus the name of this documentary, Breaking 7. Alison gave up on her stable teaching job and left her comfort zone at the age of almost 30 just to follow her dream. She went through countless challenges with her coach, good friends and family, and was further inspired in life.
