Paolo Ferrari is an “image maker”. Since 1998 he has been one of the most innovative users of digital medium applied to cinema. He was a pupil of Vittorio Storaro and has worked with the likes of Giuseppe Bertolucci, Bernardo Bertolucci, Marco Bellocchio, Carmine Amoroso, Daniele Segre, Mimmo Calopresti, Marco S. Puccioni, Massimo Guglielmi and Giorgio Treves. Mixing traditional techniques with the unexplored possibilities of digital image, he has made numerous full-lenght films, including: “Quello che cerchi”(best cinematography at the European Film Cinema Festival in Lecce) “Cover boy: l’ultima rivoluzione” (best cinematography at the Valencia Film Festival) and “Fatti della banda della Magliana” winner of the prestigious A.I.C. award for best cinematography. In 2013 creates in Rome with Carmine Amoroso, Patrizia Zoratti and Patrizio La Bella, the production company Zutfilm share the common goal of creating free and independent film projects.
